Aridus Wine Company is a family-owned producer of award-winning single varietal wines made in Arizona. Aridus is latin for "arid" or "dry" and pays homage to our unique Arizona high desert terroir. In addition to our own ARIDUS label, we also are a custom crush facility, making wine for other Arizona grape growers in the region.
Aridus has 5 different varieties of wine under the ARIDUS label available for tasting. We do not compromise on quality and like to allow each variety of grape to showcase its own unique style in our wines. Our Arizona wines have won international recognition for outstanding winemaking, positively representing our amazing Cochise County grape growing region. Our 2012 Chardonnay is a big, bold, oaky, buttery chardonnay aged on a mixture of new and neutral French oak and won Gold at the 2014 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition. Our 2012 Syrah is done in a Rhone-style with a classic bacon or smoky meat taste with a hint of green olive and won Double Gold at the 2014 San Fransisco International Wine Competition. Take your wine journey with Aridus and we'll show you a side of the desert you've never tasted before.
