About The Wines

Topaz Viognier - Bold, with blossom appeal. This wine is elegant, well-balanced and full-flavoured - redolent of Condrieu. The perfect accompaniment to shellfish, linefish, sole and sushi. Only 252 bottles produced.

Topaz Pinot Noir - A ture expression of Pinot Noir, with hints of cherries, cranberries, raspberries and stawberries interwoven with typical Elgin minerality and finesse. The perfect accompaniment to stuffed mushrooms, pork loin and seared tuna. Only 255 bottles produced.

Topaz Shiraz- A long, cool ripening ensured concentrated flavours. The result - an iron fist in a velvet glove! Elegant minerality, with a full ripe mid-palate of vibrant plums, biltong and hints of white pepper. Distinctly 'New World' in style but with 'Old World' power woven into it. To be enjoyed with red meat, carpaccio, venison or duck. Definitely not a shy wine!

Topaz Shiraz/Mourvedre - Slow fermentation of Shiraz and Mourvedre with Viognier skins added to the Mourvedre ferment allowed us to create this exceptional Rhone-style blend. The wine has a full, ripe-mouth feel with hints of blackberries, cherries, violets and dark chocolate. A decadent wine perfectly paired with oxtail stew or black pepper encrusted fillet steak.
